Fairy Godmurder by Sarah J. Sover: Let’s Solve Some Murders
What's a better combo than fairies and crime-fighting? When someone murders Gwen's first fairy godmother charge, her life takes a turn and she becomes a crime fighter. If the cops can't figure out who did it, she will. Little does she know that that first murder was only the beginning and she'd be hunting a serial killer years later.
A Lullaby of Witches by Hester Fox: The Power of the Past
This is a tough review to write. To say I loved Hester Fox's The Witch of Willow Hall and The Widow of Pale Harbor would be an understatement. They are gorgeous books. Hester Fox has put out two books since then and...I haven't loved either of them half as much. It feels like her writing has changed or something. I don't know. But let's discuss her most recent book: A Lullaby of Witches.
Jane and the Year Without Summer by Stephanie Barron: Jane Austen, Murder, and Me Sobbing at 2 AM

Unfortunately, while there were parts that I loved, there were… Continue reading Within These Wicked Walls: Magic, Evil Spirits, and Love
