Another anthology!! #Love is filled with stories about love and each story is from one of the writers from The Hive. Full disclosure: my friend, Srivalli, is one of the writers and she asked me to review the group's new anthology and I was happy to do so!!
I've read the book before this one in the Bow Street Bachelors series so I didn't go in completely clueless to these characters like I normally do when I read a book halfway through a series lol. Shocking, I know! But while I didn't love the second book, To Catch an Earl, I did like… Continue reading The Princess and the Rogue: Some Good Moments and Some Meh Moments
Welllll....2020 was a fucking mess, but here we are. I think I read during this time mainly to escape the real world for 20-30 minutes at a time. I know lots of people weren't able to read at all and I totally get that. There are definitely times where I was like "what is a… Continue reading Best Books I Read in 2020
Ok, let's start with a disclosure: I have a love-hate relationship with Christina Lauren. I love one book and then the next one comes out and I'm like meh or I hate one of the characters. I think I was the only one that was just meh about The Unhoneymooners (HE DIDN'T TRUST HER!!!). And that pattern seems to be continuing because since I didn't like their last book, I LOVED THIS ONE.
Erin Hahn is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I loved You'd Be Mine and More Than Maybe is an absolute delight. Music, love, podcasts, and IT TAKES PLACE IN MICHIGAN?? What more could I ask for? I wish I had this book growing up because it would have been so great to read… Continue reading More Than Maybe: Music, Love, and Phil
Yes, I know. It's another Jane Austen post. I will not apologize! The Jane Austen Society is such a lovely book. Whether you're a huge Jane Austen fan like me or have only read one book or only seen a movie or two, this book is so worth the read. It's got romance, trauma, strong friendship, and so much more.
I am so bored. I have no books to review (at least not until I finish them) or the ones I can review can't be released until a later date. Sooooo, that means y'all get a "what in the world am I reading" post! I'm currently reading four books because why not torture myself? and… Continue reading What the Hell am I Reading?
Lakeshire Park is the perfect read for right now. Yes, it has some conflict and some drama, but overall, it's light and romantic, and I think I read it in two days which, for me, is fast!
Do I even need to state how much I love a Jane Austen retelling? I LOVE THEM! And Sonali Dev's The Rajes series is one of my favorites. Pride, Prejudice, and Other Flavors was fantastic and when I saw the next book in the series was a Persuasion retelling, I almost died of excitement. And… Continue reading Recipe for Persuasion: Brilliant Jane Austen Retelling
I love an English gentry romance. Give me all the earls, dukes, rogues, etc. I love it. I don't know why because booo rich people, but they draw me in every time. So when I saw these two books on NetGalley, I knew I wanted to give them a shot! So let's talk earls, ladies,… Continue reading Let’s Earl It Up: The Earl Not Taken and To Catch an Earl Review
