As soon as I heard about this book, I was everywhere trying to get an ARC. As we all know, I'm constantly on the lookout for books with Jewish characters that have nothing to do with the Holocaust. And not only is this that but it's a YA romance between two girls and it has a HEA (happily ever after)!!
A COVER REVEAL!! And for a Talia Hibbert book!! Can we all scream in delight?!?! I could not be more excited for this. Today's cover reveal is for The Roommate Risk. The book used to be known as Wanna Bet? but has been retitled and given a new cover! Ready to take a look? Alright,… Continue reading Cover Reveal: The Roommate Risk by Talia Hibbert
A PRIDE AND PREJUDICE RETELLING!! Yes, here we are again with a Pride and Prejudice story. Like we aren't talking about a Pride and Prejudice retelling like every 5th post on this blog LOL! But here we are today with How to Fall in Love with a Man You Thought You Hated by Elizabeth Adams!
Did y'all really think I wasn't going to review a retelling of Pride and Prejudice with murder?!?! I was in from the moment I heard about Pride and Premeditation. Murder mystery with romance is one of my favorite genre/subgenres. So...let's get to the review!
Another anthology!! #Love is filled with stories about love and each story is from one of the writers from The Hive. Full disclosure: my friend, Srivalli, is one of the writers and she asked me to review the group's new anthology and I was happy to do so!!

Shocking, I know! But while I didn't love the second book, To Catch an Earl, I did like… Continue reading The Princess and the Rogue: Some Good Moments and Some Meh Moments
Welllll....2020 was a fucking mess, but here we are. I think I read during this time mainly to escape the real world for 20-30 minutes at a time. I know lots of people weren't able to read at all and I totally get that. There are definitely times where I was like "what is a… Continue reading Best Books I Read in 2020
Ok, let's start with a disclosure: I have a love-hate relationship with Christina Lauren. I love one book and then the next one comes out and I'm like meh or I hate one of the characters. I think I was the only one that was just meh about The Unhoneymooners (HE DIDN'T TRUST HER!!!). And that pattern seems to be continuing because since I didn't like their last book, I LOVED THIS ONE.
Erin Hahn is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I loved You'd Be Mine and More Than Maybe is an absolute delight. Music, love, podcasts, and IT TAKES PLACE IN MICHIGAN?? What more could I ask for? I wish I had this book growing up because it would have been so great to read… Continue reading More Than Maybe: Music, Love, and Phil
Yes, I know. It's another Jane Austen post. I will not apologize! The Jane Austen Society is such a lovely book. Whether you're a huge Jane Austen fan like me or have only read one book or only seen a movie or two, this book is so worth the read. It's got romance, trauma, strong friendship, and so much more.
