Talia Hibbert is one of my favorite authors of all time. The way she writes, her characters, and the emotions she gets her readers to feel. So, when I heard that she was coming out with a YA book, I knew I had to read it. And, unsurprisingly, I was not disappointed.
As y'all know, I will read just about any Pride and Prejudice retelling and this one did not disappoint. I had some issues with the dude character (when do I not), but overall, this was really well done and I connected a lot with Beatrice.
Some books are just so happy and accepting that you can't help but smile and feel all warm inside when you read them. That is The One True Me and You. It's got fandom, fanfiction, queer love, figuring things out, and standing up for what you believe in.
It's taken me a while to write this review because 1) I am a master procrastinator and 2) I CRIED FOR TWO HOURS AFTER FINISHING THIS BOOK. Ashley Schumacher had me crying my eyes out with Amelia Unabridged and now here we are again with Full Flight. Let's talk about the absolute sob fest this… Continue reading Full Flight by Ashley Schumacher: Can You Drown In Your Own Tears??
The first Tracey Garvis Graves book I read was The Girl He Used to Know and I LOOOVED it. So when I saw she had a new book coming out, I was ready to read it and cry my eyes out. While there were definitely tears, this book wasn't everything I expected. Let's talk Heard It in a Love Song?
You ever read a romance novel and you're just like...DAAAMN, can I get some of that?? That is definitely the thought I had after reading Eight Perfect Hours. Like...where is my snow storm and traffic back up and perfect person in the car next to me???
There is nothing I love more than love between two people who so utterly and completely deserve it and that describes Dev and Charlie perfectly.
Y'all know I am a sucker for a good romance and The Meeting Point by Olivia Lara is definitely that! I really love how it is written. You think you know where the story is going in the first half and then it turns into something else that's both unique and so so wonderful. I'm so happy I signed up for this blog tour.
A governess and a duke?!?!? Who would have thought?!? (except everyone who reads historical romance lol) I really liked how many different layers this book had. It wasn't just romance (although, that is always enough for me!). There's looking for a long-lost father, missing journals, a possible secret map, and the mission to open a hat shop!
Historical romance time!! (again lol) This time we have To Tempt A Scandalous Lord by Liana De La Rosa! Y'all, there is a wardrobe malfunction in this book and a dude who helps with the wardrobe malfunction!!!!
